21-month baby admitted to DMCH with Covid infection

A 21-month baby has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) after being infected with Covid-19.

Five children including the 21-month baby are undergoing treatment in DMCH corona unit. The babies are kept in High Dependency Unit (HDU).

Prof Dr Sayeeda Anwar, head of pediatric department of Dhaka Medical College, told Banglanews that the hospital is now receiving children infected with coronavirus.

However, the infection is not taking a serious turn in case of children, she added.
