Lokman Hossain Miah, secretary to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, has been made secretary to the Health Services Division under the health ministry.

Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard signed by its Deputy Secretary Mohammad Abdul Latif on Sunday.

Earlier, Md Mokabbir Hossain was appointed to the land ministry as the Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Appeal Board from the post of Biman Bangladesh managing director and CEO.

Incumbent Health Services Division Secretary Abdul Mannan tested positive for Covid-19 recently and now undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.

Meanwhile, Mannan has been appointed as secretary to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.
