Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have recovered 18 anti-tank rocket shells from the forest in Satchhari National Park of Habiganj district.

The rocket shells were found in a cave in the back-wood Satchhari near the border.

BGB 55 battalion commander Lt Col Samiunnabi was addressing a press conference held around 11am on Wednesday in the forest.

However, none was detained so far in this connection, he said.

According to the BGB press conference, the very old rocket shells were recovered from the forest inside Bangladesh territory, one and a half kilometers away from the Bangladesh-India border. The shells were wrapped in polythene inside a plastic cover. On information about the shells, the BGB have launched the drive.
