Hong Kong grants $881,000 for flood relief in Bangladesh

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China has decided to donate HKD 6.83 million (USD 881,000) to Bangladesh to help those affected by the flood.

The fund will be used to provide food, medical supplies, daily necessities and temporary shelters, benefiting around 63,750 flood victims.

In the face of challenge, China will always be with Bangladesh, said the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.
