Intercity train services to resume gradually from Aug 16

Bangladesh Railway has decided to resume all intercity train services gradually from August 16. 

Sharif Alam, public relations officer of Railway Ministry, confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Sunday.

Train services were suspended on March 24 in wake of coronavirus pandemic. Later on June 1, Railway authority resumed rail operations in limited scale. Trains are currently carrying 50 percent passengers.
