Six persons were killed as a bus hit a human hauler and a rickshaw van in Sadar upazila of Chuadanga on Saturday morning.

Five others were also injured in the accident that took place around 6am at Sorojganj Bazar on the Chuadanga-Jhenidah Road.

The deceased were identified as Shoag Ali, 25, Sharif Ali, 30, Raju Ahmed, 45, Kalu, 40, Milon, 40,  and Seri Sashthi,42.  All are resident of the upazila.

According to police, a bus of 'Royal Paribahan' hit a human hauler and a rickshaw van from behind after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving six dead on the scene and five others injured.

The injured were taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
