BENAPOLE (JESSORE): Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members on Wednesday detained 41 Bangladeshis, including children and women, as they were returning home illegally.

They were held on Benapole-Gatipara road at noon.

Police said the detainees used to work at different houses and factories in India. They were held when returning home illegally through traffickers.

Beanpole Port Thana police officer-in-charge (OC) Apurba Hasan told banglanews the detainees were sent to court as legal action has been taken against them.
