DHAKA: A proposal has been taken in the cabinet meeting thanking and congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for a fruitful visit of her Indian Counterpart Narendra Modi in the country.

It also mentioned that Sheikh Hasina has huge contribution behind the visit of Modi in Bangladesh.

The proposal has been taken at regular cabinet meeting at the secretariat on Monday, with Premier Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
   
Several agreements and protocols between Bangladesh and India have been signed during Modi’s visit in June 6 and 7 which indicated positive sign in the relations between the neighboring countries.

The Indian premier’s visit was very eventful and fruitful, cabinet secretary Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan told media after the meeting.

He also said there is huge contribution of Sheikh Hasina. Because of her foresight, wisdom, interest, leadership, positive attitude, her firm determination in building strong bilateral relations and regional cooperation, the visit made successful.
