DHAKA: A devastating fire broke out at a multi-storied building named Molla Tower opposite to Rampura Television Station in the city on Sunday afternoon.

On information, 11 fire fighting units have been sent to the spot but six of those were brought back to the station, fire service headquarters duty officer M Farhad.

Then, the five units of fire service brought the flame under control after haft an hour efforts, he added.

Earlier, the fire originated at third floor of the high-rise around 5:15pm.
