DHAKA: Middle Eastern country Jordan is likely to legalize about 8,000 Bangladeshis residing there.

The process had already been started, confirmed Iftekhar Hyder, secretary of Expatriate Welfare Ministry.

He made the disclosure after a meeting with Jordan delegation at the ministry in Thursday afternoon.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on man power export was also signed at that time.
