DHAKA: A 82-member delegation of National Defence Course-15 paid a visit to four media houses, including banglanews24.com of East West Media Group (EWMGL) at Bashundhara Residential area on Thursday afternoon.

During the visit, they talked to newsmen about the news operations of print and online media of the group.

Earlier in the day, Editor-in-Chief of banglanews24.com Alamgir Hossain, Editor of Daily Kaler Kantha Emdadul Haque Milon, Editor of Daily Bangladesh Pratidin Noeem Nizam and acting Editor of the Daily Sun Jamilur Rahman welcomed the delegation at Bashundhara Convention center.

The course consists of 51 Bangladeshi Course members of Brigadier General or equivalent rank including 12 foreign members from China, Egypt, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and UK.

Banglanews Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain along with heads of departments exchanged views with the delegation members.

While visiting banglanews office, they came to know about the smooth functions of the news portal.

Banglanews Consultant Editor Jewel Mazhar and Head of News Mahmood Menon Khan among members of the portal were present at the program.

The course members are expected to undertake higher responsibilities in the direction and management of defence and National security.

For attaining course objectives partially, National Defence College organizes the visits to various ministries, organizations and Institutions locally which enable the course members to gather first hand knowledge on the vision, role, function and capabilities of such organizations.
