DHAKA: Four people including three of a family died and four other fell sick after taking contaminated food in Badamia village under Trishal upazila Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Bithi, 8, Dilruba, 9, Nazma, 18 and Hajera Khatun, 60.

The incident took place at the house of one Abul Kalam. They all fell sick after having breakfast with breads.

They were rushed to Trishal Upazila Hospital where four of them died and four others are fighting for life at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Assistant registrar of the hospital confirmed the matter to banglanews.
