COX’S BAZAR: At least two people were killed and 18 injured in a road accident in Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar Sunday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Mohammad Idris (25), son of Ruhul Amin of Teknaf and Nurjahan (60), daughter of Faridur Rahman of Patiya upazila of Chittagong.

The diseased were sent to Cox’s Bazar Hospital morgue and the injured are admitted at Teknaf Health Complex.

Teknaf Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Ataur Rahman Khandakar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
