CHITTAGONG: Another victim of petrol bomb attack died at Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) early Friday.

The deceased was Rannjit Das, 30, son of Jatin Nath of Anayetpur village under Hathazari upazila.

Sub-Inspector Pankaj Barua of CMCH police outpost confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on Wednesday night, auto rickshaw driver Saber Hossain, 28, and its passenger Ranjit sustained burn injuries as some miscreants blasted a petrol bomb at the CNG-run auto rickshaw in Charia Burir Par of the upazila.

Locals rushed them to the CMCH where Ranjit succumbed to his injuries around 12:30am Friday.
