1 burnt in firebomb attack on train

DHAKA: An elderly man sustained burn injures when suspected hartal and blockade supporters hurled petrol bomb at a train in Kosaibari area of Airport Station of the city early Friday.

The injured-- Mono Miah, 60, an egg trader who hails from Mymensingh--was rushed to burn unit of the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazid Miah of Kamalapur Railway Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said some miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the Dhaka-bound train ‘Agnibina’ coming from Mymensingh in the area around 12:30am, leaving the egg trader injured.
