DHAKA: Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu on Tuesday categorically said the telecast of Ekushey Television (ETV) was not stopped.
“The telecast of Ekushey Television has not been stopped. The government will probe why subscribers did not receive the feed of the television channel across the country,” he said while talking to reporters at his secretariat office.
People from various areas of the country did not get the feed of ETV from the first anniversary of 10th general elections on January 5.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia also alleged that the government closed the telecast of ETV.
