Bangladeshi peacekeepers safe from Ebola: ISPR

DHAKA: Bangladeshi peacekeepers, who are involved in United Nations peacekeeping missions in several parts of Africa, are safe, an ISPR press release said on Thursday.

The news release added that Bangladeshi peacekeepers are working in several the African countries of Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Mali, Ivory Coast, Sudan and South Sudan.

No Bangladeshi has been reported as Ebola affected, the release added.

It added that a 5-member team led by Bangladesh armed forces consultant physician Major General Mohammad Robiul Hossain will visit Liberia on October 27 in this regard.
