BOGRA: Law enforcers on Friday arrested a local BNP leader in a debt case.

The detainee was identified as Nandigram municipality unit BNP organizing secretary Abdur Razzaq Babu, hailed from Sidhail village of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Nandigram Thana SHahjahan Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews. 

Police arrested him as there was an arrest warrant against him, he added.
