DHAKA: Fake currency identifying machines will be set up at sacrificial animals’ hats and shopping malls across the country.

Sources told banglanews on Friday that different commercial banks are setting up these machines following direction of Bangladesh Bank.

However, they will set up 42 booths in the capital and 82 in other districts, sources added.

Moreover, the central bank with the help of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) will set up 130 forged currency identifying machines at markets across the country.
