FROM NEW DELHI: India external affairs ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin on Tuesday said Bangladesh and India are expressing same concern.

The spokesperson came up with the observation while addressing a press conference, held in New Delhi on Tuesday noon, over the upcoming meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina.

Syed Akbaruddin said Bangladesh premier Sheikh Hasina could not join in the oath taking ceremony of Indian PM Narendra Modi and it would be the very first meeting between the premiers on September 27.

So, the meeting is very important, he added.

He further said Narendra Modi is going to the US for a four-day official visit where he is scheduled to take part in 35 programs.
