DHAKA: Recently resigned chairman, managing director and also a board member of United Airways Tasbirul Ahmed Chowdhury was accused as the main culprit of forgery in purchasing aircraft.

Violating all type of conventional rules Captain Tasbir led the purchasing process. 

Beside, he picked Tk 415 crore from share market in the name of craft purchasing and bought a 20-year old plane.

According to the investigation of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), United Air bought the aircrafts in the prices of various scales.

The organization also violated the rules of Securities and Exchange Commission Rules. 

Earlier on the day, Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury has resigned from his posts of chairman and managing director and board member of United Airways, an enlisted company to the stock exchange.

The company’s directors have reconstituted the board, in this regard, appointing Mohammad Mahatabur Rahman as chairman, Shahinoor Alam as managing director (acting) and wing commander Ferdous Imam (retd) as chief executive officer (acting).
