GOPALGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday inaugurated power connections of 10,000 families, Sonali Bank Tunigpara branch building, 30KW solar panel of the upazila building and several newly made bridges in the upazila of the district.

Earlier, the premier left Dhaka at 10:00am for Tungipara by a helicopter and reached at 10:25am.

She paid her homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahmanby placing floral wreaths at his grave, attended a special Munajat here.

Later, she attended a program held at public plaza of Bangabandhu Memorial Complex and inaugurated the development works here.

Religious Affairs Secretary to Awami League Sheikh M Abdullah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
