DHAKA: The Election Commission (EC) on Thursday started taking photographs for updating voter list in the city.

The authorities are making publicity in the metropolitan areas to make it a successful program.

EC Public Relations Director SM Asaduzzaman said the process of updating would be continued till November 15.

Those who did not apply yet also can fill up the form in the centre where photos are being taken.

The EC is now working to include 46 lakh new voters.

Currently, there are 9.19 crore voters in the country.
