BAGERHAT: Two minor siblings were allegedly killed in Paylatala village under Morrelganj upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Mirazul Haolader, 11, Riazul Haolader, 8, sons of Babu Haolader of the area.

Grandmother of the deceased said that their neighbor Bachchu Mridha came to her house at Thursday late night and made her senseless by giving her sleeping pills with juice.

She also claimed that Bachchu Mridha might have killed her grandsons.

Later, locals noticed the floating bodies of the duos in a pond adjacent to their house and informed police.

However, police recovered the bodies and sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Morrelganj Thana Aslam Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
