Tk 1cr Indian currency seized at Shahjalal

DHAKA: Customs detained a Pakistani citizen with one crore Indian currency at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city on Friday noon.

The detainee was identified as Haris Uddin, 39.

Confirming the matter, Customs Joint Commissioner Kazi Ziauddin told banglanews that the law enforcers detained him around 2:00pm.
