HILI, DINAJPUR: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over six Bangladeshis to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through Hili border post early Monday.
The detainees are- Subhas Sarkar, 60, Lakeshwar, 60, Rameswar Sarkar, 55, Biswajit Roy, 20, Mashiur Rahman, 40 and Abdul Halim, 45.
They were detained by BSF on accusation of intrusion into India.
India’s Hili BSF camp commander Jafrullah Khan handed over the detainees to Bangladesh’s Hili check post ICP camp commander Nayek Subeder Abdul Mannan around 11:30pm.
Confirming the matter BGB Hili ICP Camp Commander Subedar Abdul Mannan told banglanews that the returned men were kept at Hakimpur Thana.
