Japanese first lady visits Nursing College

DHAKA: Japanese first lady Akie Abe on Saturday visited the Dhaka Nursing College in city.

She stayed there for about 40 minutes, sources told banglanews.

Dhaka Nursing College principal Era Dibra, also the president of Bangladesh Nurses Association, was present here.

She said the Japanese first lady visited the laboratory at the ground floor of the college and later spoke with students at a classroom on the second floor.

She left the Nursing College around 5:10pm.

Akie Abe, however, landed here in Bangladesh with Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at 12:50pm on a two-day official visit.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received them at Shahjalal International Airport.
