DHAKA: Metropolitan detective Police detained four people with huge Yaba tablets from Khilgaon area of the city early Monday.

The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately.

Confirming the matter, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Deputy Police Commissioner said that acting on a tip off, the law enforcers detained the men with 55,000 Yaba tablets from the area.

Meanwhile, a vehicle and Yaba making equipments were seized from the spot.

Details will be disclosed in a press meet at DMP media center, he added.
