DHAKA: A traffic police was killed as a speedy bus hit him while he was on duty at Mohakhali area in the capital on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Mojaffar Hossain, 40.

Operation Officer Abu Bakar Miah of Banani Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The accident left him critically injured. Later locals rushed him to the local hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead.
