CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Two persons had been lynched here in Shibganj’s Dhainagar area early Thursday.

However, the identities of the deceased couldn’t be known immediately.

Locals told banglanews that the two men were lynched follow snatching motorcycle of a man.

Locals intercepted the suspected dacoits and gave them good beating after hearing shouting of the victim and left critically injured them at that time, they added.

On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the critically injured men to upazila health complex where the duo succumbed to their injuries.

Shibganj Thana Sub Inspector Sudipto Reza confirmed the matter.
