COX’S BAZAR: Three people were killed and 11 others injured in a road accident in Harbang area under Chakaria upazila of the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police sources said a passenger bus collided head on with a microbus on highway in the area around 5:00pm, leaving two people dead on the spot 12 others injured.

The fatally injured another one succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

The injured were rushed to Chakaria Upazila Health Complex and Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Sergeant of Harbang Highway Police Outpost Nizam Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
