DHAKA: The Liberation War Affairs Ministry cancelled certificates of some 31 government official mentioning those were obtained through forgery.

The ministry published a gazette notification to this effect on Sunday.

The officials include joint secretary of Public Administration Ministry M Mahbubul Alam, director of UCRIP project of local government and engineering SM Selim, caretaker engineer of Water Development Board Saidur Rahman and executive director of Bangladesh Bank Mohammad Abdul Hamid.
