DHAKA: A man, who was shot by hijackers at Kamalapur on July 20, succumbed to his injuries Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Monday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Mustafa Kamal, 55, resident of Lalbagh.  

Before dying, wounded Mustafa Kamal told Banglanews that, he dealt in plastic. On Sunday noon, some 6-7 hijackers shot him, and took away his bag consisting Tk 50,000 and some important documents.

Later Sub-Inspector of Motijheel Thana rushed him to DMCH.

Citing the doctors, shop employer Ruhul Amin, and Dhaka Hospital's Police outpost In-charge Mojammel Haq confirmed the matter to his death.
