BAGERHAT: Police arrested Sirajul Haque alias Siraj Master, 74, a fugitive accused of International War Crimes Tribunal in six cases including genocide, rape and arson.                                                                                        

He was arrested from Dema village under Sadar upazila around 11:00am Monday.

Bagerhat Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Ali Azam Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.    

So far police have been able to arrest three warranted war criminals including Siraj from Kachua, Rajshahi and Bagerhat in Shakharikathi mass killing case.     

Siraj, son of late Harej Uddin, was a notorious Razakar (collaborator) during 1971 Liberation War at Gotapara village of Bagerhat.  

He was involved in Shakharikathi mass killing of Kachua in 1971. 

International War Crimes Tribunal had issued arrest warrant against him in six cases including Shakharikathi mass killing.
