Flight resumes at Cox’s Bazar Airport

DHAKA: Flight operations at Cox’s Bazar Airport resumed on Monday after 22 hours of halt following an accident of United Airways.

The Civil Aviation Authority removed the aircraft around 4:00 pm.

After the accident on Sunday, no aircraft could land or take off from the airport.

Earlier, an aircraft of United Airways faced a small accident at Cox’s Bazar airport.

Civil Aviation Authority sources said the nose wheel of the craft carrying 63 passengers broke down after landing at the airport around 5:45 pm flying from Dhaka.

Deputy General Manager of United Airways Kamrul Islam told banglanews that the nose wheel didn’t break down, it just got stuck somehow.
