BHOLA: Some 16 fishermen went missing as three fishing trawlers capsized near to Puber Char in Bay of Bengal adjacent to Char Fashion upazila due to storm on Sunday night.

Char Fashion Dhalchar Fish Godown Somity president Nannu Matabbar told banglanews said that the accident took place around 8:00pm and the trawlers capsized due to storm.

Meanwhile, a trawler along with all fishermen was rescued but two trawlers of Harun Majhi and Shahjahan Majhi remained missing with 16 people. 

South Aricha Thana Officer-in-Charge Enamul Haque said that no one informed police about the incident yet but police is investigating the matter.
