Nur Hossain’s cashier on 6-day remand

NARAYANGANJ: A Narayanganj court on Sunday placed Nur Hossain’s cashier Ali Mohammad on a 6-day remand in a gruesome 7-murder case.

Earlier, a 10-day remand was saught for Ali, who was one of three prime accomplices of Nur Hossain.

Narayanganj Court police instector Habibur Rahman told media, a remand hearing was held at Narayanganj Juditial Magistrate Manowara Begum’s Court. After the hearing a 6-day remand was accepted for Ali Mohammad.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Ali Mohammad was arrested from a bordering area in Akhaura in Brahmanbaria.

Seven-murder case inspection official also district DB Officer-in-Charge Mamunur Rashid Mandal said, Ali Mohammad was staying at one of his relatives’ house in Akhaura bordring area. On tipoff, police arrested him on Saturday morning.
