DHAKA: In the new budget, the government is going to introduce a compulsory new provision of receiving house rent by cheque. 

Every house owner must take house rent by cheque but house rent will have to be minimum Tk 25,000. 

Finance Minister AMA Muhith is set to announce country’s 44th budget on Thursday afternoon before the parliament. 

Country will get highest ever Tk 2.50 lakh crore national budget for the fiscal year 2014-15 where the minister is set to introduce the new provision for house owner and residents.

Besides, every house owner might be included into tax identification number (TIN) in the budget.  

Muhith, also ruling Awami League lawmaker, made the disclosure in an interview with a national daily.
