TANGAIL: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Sadar and Ghatail upazila of the district on Monday.

Sub-inspector Anowar of Tangail Thana said that motorcyclist Rafiq, 35, of Shakhipur village was killed when a Korotia Sadad University’s bus rammed him in Ashekpur area of Sadar upazila around 12:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

A pedestrian, Kuddus, 45, of Kulaha village was killed as a speedy bus run over him in Potabari area of Ghatail upazila around 10:30pm, sub-inspector Anis of the police station confirmed the matter.
