MYNMENSINGH: Country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group honored 59 more retailers with ‘Rising Star’ certificates for achieving outstanding performance in selling Bashundhara Khata (Exercise Books) for the year 2013.

The certificates were given along with crest at a restaurant in Mymensingh on Monday night.  

With Bashundhara Group distributor Mahbub Alam Jewel in the chair, Chief Marketing Promotion Officer of Bashundhara Group Saiful Islam Helali, Bashundhara Khata Regional Sales Manager Zahidul Islam (Dhaka North) delivered their speech in the programme. 

Addressing the ceremony, Saiful Islam Helali said that they have arranged the programme to identify the problems and find out the ways of solution in selling Bashundhara Khata.

He also said there will be 4-new designs in the Khatas of Bashundhara from next month. 

Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited Regional Sales Managers Md Ohidul Islam said that a four-month long scheme was given to the retailers and wholesalers across the country from October 2013 to January 2014. And following the scheme 59 businessmen were awarded for special achievements in Mymensingh. 

Bashundhara Khata Seller, the owner of Fetama Store Tanjir Ahmed said that the quality of Bashundhara Paper and cover pages is much better than the other exercise books available in the market. That’s why the students are interested to get Bashundhara Khata.

Later, a dinner party was held in honour of hundreds of retailers, wholesalers, print and online media journalists.
