DHAKA: Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury left Dhaka on Sunday morning to join swearing in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi. 

Jatiya Sangsad Senior Secretariat Ashraful Makbul and other high officials saw off her at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city.

During the tour, the speaker will meet the Indian President Pranab Mukharjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

She is scheduled to return on May 28.
