Probe progress report on Jun 5

DHAKA: The Administrative probe committee, formed under directive of the High Court to investigate into seven murders in Narayanganj, will submit progress report to the High Court on June 5. 

Additional Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Md Shahjahan Ali Mollah, also committee chief, made the disclosure to the journalists at the secretariat on Sunday.

Later, he recorded depositions of former Deputy Commissioner of Narayanganj Manoz Kanti Baral and Police Superintendent Syed Nurul Islam in the seven-murder case.

Syed Nasrul Islam said that the investigation process is near to an end and report will be submitted to the High Court on June 5.
