FROM MAWA GHAT: Law enforcers on Wednesday have handed over seven bodies to their relatives after identifying them.

According to the latest information provided by Mawa Ghat police sub-control room, Bhola, Munshiganj, Shariatpur and Chandpur district administrations and polices handed over the bodies.

Mohammad Mujibur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Srinagar Thana of Munshiganj district, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Some 36 people are still missing, he added.

A launch, Pinak-6 that was carrying more than 200 passengers, capsized near Mawa Ghat in Lohajang upazila of Munshiganj district on Monday morning.
