DHAKA: A youth died in Mirpur Thana police custody in city on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mahbubur Rahman Sujan, 35, son of Meher Ali Shikdar.

Confirming the matter, Shah Ali Thana Sub-Inspector Imanur Rahman told banglanews, “Sujan was enlisted terrorist and Mirpur Thana Sub-Inspector Jahidur Rahman detained him early Sunday with 10 rounds of bullets and two magazines.”

The detainee was suffering from heart disease. So, heart disease may have been responsible for his death, he added.
