Sunamganj road crash kills 2

SUNAMGANJ: Two people were killed and three others injured when a microbus plunged into a roadside ditch in Dhamodotto Tripti area on Sylhet-Sunamganj highway on Saturday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Kador Ali, son of Faijur Rahman and Abu Bakkar, 45, son of late Abdul Fazil.

Police said that Sylhet-bound the microbus fell into a roadside ditch in the area around 11:45pm as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving two the people dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter, Sub-Inspector of Highway police Shahjahan told banglanews, “The bodies were sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital.”
