DHAKA: Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali said the visit of Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister of India, to Bangladesh will start a new horizon between the two nations.

Abul Hassan said on Sunday Sushma will come to Bangladesh on Wednesday on three day official visit. 

He said, “We welcome her visit and ready for bilateral talks.” 

During the visit, Sushma Swaraj will hold discussions on bilateral issues with the Bangladesh Foreign Minister. 

She will also call on President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 

The Indian FM will also have meeting with think tanks, chambers of commerce and industry and cultural organizations.

On the other hand, the Indian foreign ministry on Sunday reconfirmed the schedule of its external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj’s maiden Dhaka three-day visit from June 25.
