TANGAIL: A suspected robber was allegedly lynched in Narasinhapur village of Hugra union under Sadar upazila of the district early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Yunus Ali, 35, son of late Lashkar Ali, of the same village. At that time locals also found a foreign made pistol with two round of bullet from him.

Quoting locals, Tangail Thana Officer-in-Charge Akhteruzzaman said that people caught a dacoit while committing robbery at Bisha Mia’s house in the area and gave him good beating, leaving him dead on the spot.
