DHAKA: Lieutenant Colonel Anwar Latif Khan was appointed as new Commanding Officer (CO) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11.

RAB headquarters in a message confirmed the matter on Friday noon.

Earlier, RAB-11 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Tarique Mahmud, Major Arif and Lieutenant Commander MM Rana were withdrawn from the elite force for their alleged involvement in Narayanganj seven killing case.
