BD-Myanmar to stop Yaba smuggling

COX’S BAZAR: Bangladesh and neighboring Myanmar agreed to stop Yaba smuggling though border of the two countries.

 The decision came at a flag meeting in sector level between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar at a Cox’s Bazar hotel on Thursday.       

The crucial meeting on various issues including stopping narcotic smuggling started at 10:30am and has ended at 4:30pm.

After the meeting BGB Cox’s Bazaar sector commander Col Khandaker Farid Hasan said both countries’ have agreed to solve many bilateral problems including stopping Yaba smuggling.
