BRAHMANBARIA: Two persons were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Islampur area of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Al Amin Shahin, 30 and Chan Mia, 38.

Sources said that a Sylhet-bound microbus collided head on with a truck in the area around 8:00am, leaving the two dead on the spot and two others injured.

Later, locals rushed the injured to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital.

Confirming the matter Highway Police Sergeant Noor Jaman told banglanews, “Police recovered the bodies.”
